Sit-Reversal Exercise:
1. Warm up with your normal heeling and sitting exercises.
2. Give the 'down' command and praise when the dog is down.
3. Give the 'sit' command and apply slow, steady pressure upward and back with your leash and collar.
4. As the dog walks itself back into a sitting position, praise warmly.
5. Heel and sit again, then repeat steps 1 through 4.
6. Practice 10 times daily until the dog is siting up without the leas help.
