Sit-Stay – Distance
Prerequisites: Completion of Basic Obedience, Distracted Sit-Stay
NOTE: To begin distance work (and for the remainder of Levels 2 & 3) you will need: 100 feet of yellow,
HOLLOW-BRAID polypro. rope and 3 leash clips (available for under $15.00 at Home Depot). You will need

Begin working on your stays with your 15 foot long line.
Continue as with all stays, with slow increases in distance, until you
can walk to the end of your 15 foot line and the dog will hold the
stay for up to 2 minutes.
