Level I - Essential, Primary Obedience
8 weeks of boot camp for you and your dog


Teach your dog to listen to you – no matter what!

Includes:
  • Leadership  - earn your dog's respect in with our non-aggressive approach

  • Attention to handler - get your dog to focus on you - even when it's distracted

  • Heel - teach your dog to take a 'working walk' or hunt with you as it's leader

  • Sit - the FIRST time you say it, without a treat, even with distractions!

  • Sit-Stay – (6 ft., 1 minute)

  • Sit-Stay with distractions - dogs, toys, food, and other surprises are no
    excuse for breaking a stay.

  • Down - earn your dog's trust and respect with this common command

  • Stand - teach your dog this handy command for vet visits and bath time

  • Come - the most important word your dog will ever hear

  • Leave it - whatever it is - from dead birds to cigarette butts, just 'leave it!'

  • Wait - another safety command that teaches control & manners

  • Settle - great for when guests come over, or your dog is out in public
Obedience Training - This is not your average dog training class!
Level II - Advanced Obedience
8 weeks of intense preparation for off-leash reliability

  • Distance Sit-Stay (20 ft., 1 min.)

  • Endurance Sit-Stay (Handler 6 ft. to side of heel position, 3 min. sit-stay)
  • Greetings Exercise
Level III - Precision Obedience
4-6 weeks of off-leash polishing, ending in the ultimate challenge - testing
in public, off leash

The Facts:

  • A dog cannot be obedient to you and be pulling, digging, snapping, barking,
    biting, etc. at the same time!

  • It is easier, physically and mentally, to bring about behavioral changes with a dog
    who has been made more responsive through obedience training.
