In addition to operating Front Range K-9 Academy, she has counseled owners and their dogs for Pet Country in Pueblo, Northwest Animal Hospital in Colorado Springs, CO & The Dog House, a Doggy Daycare and Boarding Kennel facility formerly located in Denver, CO.

Jennifer has worked with dogs of all breeds, sizes and temperaments. She believes in focusing on each dog/owner relationship to tailor services that meet the needs of the individual.

Finally, Jennifer does more than train dogs for a living - she lives with dogs for her training. She shares her home with the whippets of Horsetooth Whippets, and she bases many of the lessons she teaches in class on the lessons she's learned from her own dogs.

Jennifer competes with her dogs in AKC Conformation, Obedience, Rally-O, and Lure Coursing and hobby racing.

Clients have travelled from as far away as Nebraska, Wyoming, and Kansas to work with this highly-recommended dog behaviorist & trainer.

  • Raised in a household with cats, horses, and dogs, as the daughter of a professional groomer, Trainer Jordan Dye has been a life-long animal lover.

Jordan splits her time between horse training and dog training - helping owners of both species have a better life with their animal companions.

In her spare time, she works with her own 3 horses, and her demo dog - “Jax” the terrier.

Jordan completed our Dog Trainer Apprenticeship program in record time, and is qualified to teach all levels of our training, as well as problem solving, Nosework, Tricks classes, and more.

She is an avid tricks trainer and an overall asset to our training staff. We're thrilled to have this dynamic, insightful trainer on board.

  • Trainer Meg Poinsette began her training career as a client of Front Range K9 Academy.

She rapidly completed all levels of Obedience with her demo dogs, “Duke” (Heinz 57 mix) and “Marlee” (German shepherd) - both large, young, energetic dogs.

Meg showed an early aptitude for training, and understanding dog behavior, as well as a voracious appetite for knowledge about all things canine.

With her background as a human teacher, she was a perfect fit for our apprenticeship program.

Meg brings her skills as a teacher and her passion for dogs to create a really amazing trainer.

In 2022, Meg added “Baja” - her first whippet pup - to her pack. Meg and Baja are actively involved in training for conformation, lure coursing, barn hunt, dock diving, flyball, agility, nosework, and so much more!

Meg is qualified to teach all levels of our training, and teaches Nosework and real-world training classes.

  • With Jennifer's guidance, and my persistence, I learned how to transition from the chewy toy to the leader, help Mollie learn how to behave on a walk and in a crowd.

    Thanks, Annette Tekler, Pine CO

  • Wow! We are so pleased with our experience at Front Range K9 Academy! …Our Golden Retriever is happier and much more obedient and attentive. Jordan is a great trainer and helped us so much! We would highly recommend for any level of need or training.
